He is committed to helping students learn to play music in a variety of styles and seeing that every student has a strong musical foundation. piano accompaniment. As a teacher, his goal is to help every student achieve skills on the piano that will lead to a lifelong enjoyment of music.
“My daughter has been playing the piano for about 4 years. She has been in 3 recitals and in each one she has performed wonderfully. She never missed a note. But because she didn’t know how to read the music she could never play any of her recital songs after a few months because she had forgotten what she had memorized. Because of Stan Hanson, her new teacher, she is now learning how to actually read music. I truly appreciate his patience in teaching her the way one should play piano. At her most recent lesson she was excited when she left and stated “She is being taught by a true professional” I whole heartedly agree and again thank you Stan.”
